As woman, we never feel like we have enough clothes or shoes or handbags or….lipsticks …. That’s the fact!!!! I’m more like “an accessory kind of girl”, which means I love to have more accessory than clothes. The thing is…. after many times of packing, moving and unpacking , I learnt how to keep my closet to the minimal but still have lots of fun with different styles. Many of you would think as a girl who loves and works in fashion, I must have lots of clothes and my closet must be huge. The fact is it’s NOT at all. My closet is actually pretty small and I only keep about 100-120 items in my closets, including everything, except underwear, which is not much at all if you think about it. Try to count how many items you have in your closet right now and you can imagine. 🙂
Because of having a small closet, I learnt to become a smart shopper, which means I only invest to the pieces that I need and I know I can wear it in many different ways. The trick is to stick with items with basic cut and a dash of trend. Like this kimono shirt I got from H&M 2 weeks ago. You know I’ve been obsessed with the fanny pack so when I saw this shirt on the rack, the first thought was “I’m gonna rock it with the fanny pack!!!” Yes, I’m serious about it. 😀
I love the simple silhouette of this shirt, the fabric is soft but structure enough to keep the shape of the shirt lays beautifully on your body. You can wear it simple, layback yet still edgy and fashionable with a rib denims or mix it with a pencil skirt, shorts or leather skirt to make it become a sophisticated look for work day. If you’re not confident with your waistline or your belly, this will be your to go item. It’s not only help to structure your waistline but also cover up perfectly the most insecure part of your body. Give it a try and you know what I mean! 🙂

Oh just in case you’re wondering where did I get these two awesome bags, you can look up Facebook page: darlingstorevn. They have a full collection for any of your personal style, from feminine to sophisticated, edgy to relax. Here are two of my favourites to go with the kimono shirt and rib denims.

Show me how you style your kimono shirt? I would love to see. 🙂
